Can you have too much stuff or too many ads?

Hard to believe it’s been over a year since I left New York. Obviously, this blog has suffered since I don’t see so many ads on my commute anymore. I especially miss the ones from Manhattan Mini Storage.

Will your work live on after you stop working on it?

I was pleased to see that Versus was still using the branding for the Tour De France that I helped create at The Concept Farm three tours ago - even after a buyout by Comcast and a merger with NBC.

Would you rather be liked or loved?

Chasing likes is a pretty easy way to show how popular you are, but are you providing any value besides getting buried in someone's news feed?
Saw this little ad on nytimes.com. It linked to fox.com, not Facebook. Might be interesting to compare likes to ratings.

Is Absolut going back to their classic campaign?

spotted in the April issue of Wired magazine.
The work they were doing awhile back was far more interesting. But the old bottle ads I hung on my bedroom wall are part of the reason I got into advertising, so it'll be interesting to see where they go next.
