Saying "we listen to our customers" is a good direction for Microsoft, but I quickly got sick of seeing the line "I'm a PC and Windows 7 was my idea" everywhere. So I'm glad they followed up with other executions that have more personality in the lines.
a shit load of posters, yes. Great copy? Some of them. I would have said "fewer clicks" and "there ARE better gaming graphics." Creative copy doesn't have to be retarded.
It's less wonderful when you know that Microsoft didn't give a flying f**k what users had to say when 7 was being developed. They even didn't care what their elite user group was saying, they were basically ignored, which was kind of a first.
Of course, Vista was such a loser that they must have figured, 'we'll fix Vista, screw anything else.'
Thanks for sharing the new campaign - great copy.
ReplyDeleteHoly fuck. That's a lot of goddamned posters.
