Denny’s Serious Breakfast is the best TV campaign I’ve seen in a long time. They start off with great ads in the traditional sense – cinematic storytelling with a funny payoff.
But they also have some spots that are completely fresh and wacky:
I’m guessing the agency didn’t know that this little guy would take on a life of it’s own. But they should run with it.
(crochet nannerpus found here.)
If I was the creative that came up with him, I’d go into the Nannerpus business. Buy out both of the twitter feeds and the url.
Offer the ringtone on iTunes. (Yes, it’s already on my iphone.)
Sell the official t-shirt. Make the plush and vinyl toys.
Spilt the profits between the client and agency. Why not?
I want the nannerpuss song on my iphone! How did you get it on there?
ReplyDeleteI will NOT let my Mother see the crocheted Nannerpuss lest she try to make me one. For Christmas one year, she crocheted a complete set of vegetables ... a carrot, a tomato, a head of lettuce, even a cauliflower. These are the gifts you get when you live in Hooterville!
