The apocalypse is scheduled for April 23-29

TV Turnoff Week is approaching and Adbusters is trying to raise money to air their "uncommercials" during the Glenn Beck show. Of course, the public airwaves haven’t belonged to the public in quite some time. CNN is the only network with the balls to approve the spots for air. (Or are they just the only ones smart enough to recognize the opportunity for publicity?)

Maybe you don’t lose much sleep over the consequences that media overload has on us. But you’d better be thinking about how it’s changing our industry.

Joseph Jaffe would probably say that telling people not to watch TV is a moot point these days. To keep up with the times, Adbusters suggests expanding the concept to gaming consoles and computers.
No internet for a week? Talk about the end of days.
