Can you lessen the ecological impact of your ads?

According to Terracycle, in the US alone we send 3 million billboards a year to landfills -- about 10,000 tons of vinyl.
And since I’m still lusting after a Freitag bag, I like this project from Target.

They're turning the latest edition of their Times Square billboard into limited edition bags. You can see the bags and artists here.

Yak Pak and vyandelle also have cool products made from reclaimed billboards.
