I didn't have much time for this blog in December. So to make up for it, I used the holiday break to post all the stuff I never got around to during the past year. So everything must go!
Like this bus shelter video ad that crashed before I left for vacation.

Is it good to be king?
These ads bearing orders from the King of Gilboa appeared before the holidays.
I still think teaser campaigns have been overdone, but this one is pretty good. I like the clean design and seeming simplicity of the copy. And the kings2009.com microsite sets up some plot points without really giving anything away.

How do you want to live your life?
Seems someone took offense to the tagline “The life you were meant to live” in this Caesars Atlantic City campaign.

Would your ad get better with age?
Does this concept measure up?

Can you see a better way?
Can you say the F word in an ad?
Does drinking make you happy?
Nestle’s Quik was my favorite drink when I was a kid.
(Now it’s a close second to gin and tonic.)
The first time I became aware of branding was when they changed the name from Quik to Nesquik. (Big mistake.)
So I loved two billboards they had up this year near Yankee’s stadium. The bunny drinking out of a straw in one ad lead to the glass on other billboard. I never got a picture of them, but found this one online:
