Do you prefer boring or normal?


Toshiba just launched a quirky campaign pitting two average small towns against one another. As they describe it on their site, you can “see how people in Boring, OR and Normal, IL use our laptops to bring excitement to their everyday lives.”
I discovered it when this tiny strip of a banner ad at the bottom of my browser caught my eye.

Rolling my mouse over it opened this window:

It took a bit to load, but then this oddly amusing video played:
